About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in database development, performance tuning, cloud technologies, and scripting. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of database solutions while ensuring smooth operations and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

✅ PL/SQL Development & Optimization

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance improvements and ensure efficient data processing.
• Troubleshoot database issues and enhance query execution times.

✅ Database Administration & Security

• Manage Oracle/MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and replication across multiple databases.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, indexing, and partitioning.
• Implement security best practices, vulnerability analysis, and apply necessary patches.

✅ Cloud & Server Management

• Work with Oracle Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins CI/CD for database deployments.
• Maintain and configure Linux-based servers for efficient database performance.

✅ Scripting & Automation

• Develop and maintain Bash/Python scripts for automation of routine database tasks.
• Manage and optimize cron jobs and scheduling for seamless operations.

✅ Deployment & QA Support

• Deploy database changes in QA, staging, and production environments.
• Validate and troubleshoot database integrations with applications.
• Support QA teams by validating deployment packages and identifying issues.

✅ Production Support & Troubleshooting

• Analyze and debug application logs to ensure smooth database functionality.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for performance bottlenecks and failures.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex database-related issues.

✅ Collaboration & Documentation

• Lead and mentor a team of PL/SQL developers, ensuring best coding practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, RCA reports, and database processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data processing and system enhancements.

Must-Have Skills

🔹 PL/SQL Development: Strong experience in Oracle, MySQL (queries, procedures, performance tuning)
🔹 Cloud Technologies: Oracle Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins CI/CD
🔹 Unix/Linux Administration: Bash/Python scripting for automation and troubleshooting
🔹 Application Servers: Apache Tomcat
🔹 Production Support: Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, and issue resolution
🔹 API Testing Tools: Postman, Swagger

Good-to-Have Skills
