Blow Moulding- Production

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage and oversee the blow moulding production operations at Concepts Hygiene Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production processes, maintain high-quality standards, and drive efficiency in manufacturing. This role requires hands-on experience with blow moulding machines, production planning, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

• Operate, monitor, and manage blow moulding machines to meet daily production targets.
• Plan and execute production schedules based on demand and inventory requirements.
• Ensure all production activities adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Optimize machine settings and parameters for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

2. Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Identify and address defects or inconsistencies in moulded products.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions when required.

3. Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of blow moulding machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs or replacements.

4. Process Improvement:

• Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
• Implement best practices in moulding techniques and production workflows.
• Stay updated on new technologies and methodologies in blow moulding operations.

5. Team Supervision and Training:

• Supervise production staff and provide guidance during operations.
• Train team members on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Monitor employee performance and ensure compliance with company policies.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine output, material usage, and downtime.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports for management review.
• Ensure proper documentation of machine maintenance and repairs.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Hands-on experience with blow moulding machines (e.g., extrusion or injection blow moulding).
• Strong technical knowledge of mould design, plastics processing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with raw materials used in blow moulding (e.g., HDPE, LDPE, PET).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in blow moulding production.
• Experience in the hygiene or FMCG industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance in manufacturing.
• Physical ability to work in a production environment, including standing for extended periods.
