Technical Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

As part of the delivery role, strategize talent acquisitions and skill assessment to build the team (screening the resumes, conduct/coordinate technical assessments for custom application solutions - java, python, angular, sql, ci/cd, version control etc)

• Determine technical risk and issues in the project and suggest and work on mitigation options to resolve it.
• Managing Technical Operations with onsite team members and offsite Centralised Technical Operations.
• Be responsible for all Tech Ops activities for the customer.
• Collaborate with GCS and manage the Centralised Tech Ops Team on various CVM Actionable.
• Providing consultation to Customer, Engg and Support teams on various requirements.
• Handling customer meetings & weekly Governances
• Understanding new requirements on CVM products.
• Collaboration with customer for scoping of CRs
• Collaboration with various engineering teams for technical solution, effort, and plan
• Collaboration with BD for Technical Proposals for RFP, Non-RFPs, CRs, Applications, hardware upgrades, migration/replacement proposals.
• Creating high level project plan for RFPs, CRs, Applications
• Creating Migration Strategy, scope, and plan
• Defining Project deliverables, acceptance and exit criteria for projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ Experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar software engineering role
• 4+ years of team management experience in SRE system
• Good knowledge of server platforms. Experience handling Production systems
• Experience in software deployment processes, experience in building and configuring CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in release management and transition processes
• Experience in SRE Automation
• Infrastructure architecture experience along with server platforms
• Software development or scripting experience using one or more of Python/Go/Perl/Java/C++ etc.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good Problem-solving and troubleshooting attitude.
• Collaborative team spirit
• Ability to organize independently.
• Preferred skills and qualifications
• Ability and temperament to handle extreme pressure.
• Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
• SRE or DEVOPs experience for a large company
• ITIL v3 and up certification is nice to have.
• MUST HAVE: Domain expertise in CVM, IN, SMS, USSD, IVR
• Hardware and solutioning expertise
• Know-how of technologies like Linux, Kafka, VoltDB, Postgress, Oracle, Tomcat
