Operations Intern - Procurement

Role Overview:

The Procurement Operations Intern will assist the procurement team with basic purchasing tasks, supplier coordination, and maintaining accurate records. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain foundational experience in procurement and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Support Daily Procurement Activities:

• Help create and process purchase orders under supervision.
• Track and update the status of ongoing orders.
• Assist in resolving simple order issues (e.g., delivery delays).

2)Vendor Coordination:

• Communicate with suppliers to gather quotes or confirm order details.
• Help update vendor contact information and maintain supplier records.

3)Recordkeeping:

• Organize and maintain procurement documents, such as invoices and contracts.
• Ensure all procurement data is accurately entered into the system.

4)Assist with Reports:

• Help prepare basic reports on procurement activities (e.g., cost comparisons or delivery timelines).
• Collect and analyze data for team presentations.

4)Administrative Support:

• Assist with filing, email correspondence, and general office tasks related to procurement.
• Help schedule meetings or calls with suppliers and internal teams.
