Lead the technical direction and implementation of products through close collaboration with products and tech. service provider teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Actively participate in technical design & architecture deliberations for product development projects.
2. Oversee deliveries done by tech service providers.
3. Collaborate with product owners (and tech. service providers) to establish the technical requirements.
4. Take ownership of the development lifecycle, from planning and estimation to delivery and maintenance.
5. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
6. Identify and optimize technical debt and propose strategies for refactoring and improvement.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our products and processes.
8. On need basis do hands-on product development, testing, deployment and support
