Compass Group - Finance Lead - CA (13-20 yrs)

Compass Group is a British multinational contract foodservice company headquartered in Chertsey, England. We are the largest food and facility management company globally

We are looking for a seasoned Finance Leader to oversee the financial management and strategic planning for one of our biggest client in India and globally. He/She will be working as a key member of the country leadership team to ensure that the team manage all aspects of Finance and Governance across and ensure alignment with global and regional objectives.

This role will require building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders to drive the key business outcomes, governance initiatives and enterprise risk management initiatives across the business.

The Key Responsibilities for the role are :

- Accounting & Finance: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of day to day accounting activities which include but are not limited to journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, daily / weekly cost management, timely invoicing ensuring completeness of supporting documentation and management of receivables to support favourable working capital

- Reporting : Deliver accurate reporting, financial analysis and insights both from a client facing perspective, the Leadership Team within the account as well as the Head Office highlighting any movements, risks, opportunities and forward looking projections to support decision-making and operational efficiency

- Forecasting and Performance : Preparation of periodical forecasts and annual operating plan for the business unit. Supporting budget owners from all functions by performing financial analysis, budget versus actual variance reporting, resource planning, identify outcomes & potential returns and analysis of current business issues and the resulting financial impacts

- Compliance /Governance - Identify and mitigate financial risks by ensuring a high degree of control working with the Internal Audit team to ensure appropriate checks and balances are in place within the account.

The ideal Candidate should have -

1. Minimum 14 years of relevant experience.

2. CA or MBA in Finance from a Tier 1/2 institution.

3. Experience in similar or product industry will be preferred.
