Shift Manager

Job Title: Manager, Shift

Due to continuous growth, CommScope is looking to hire Manager, Shift to be based at our site in Goa, India. As a Shift Manager you will ensure good working culture, discipline in the workplace, security and safety of operations. You will need work only in the second and third shifts.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

• Manage and mentor operations/maintenance/DBU shop-floor workers, shift leaders, facilitators to optimize overall effectiveness on second and third shifts. 
• Lead second and third shift operations teams to achieve production targets and ensure that systems and procedures are followed.
• Employ team-based philosophies and practices in establishing a lean manufacturing environment.
• Oversee shift schedules and work allocation and ensure that production targets are met / surpassed. 
• Assist operations with personnel management including recruiting/hiring, supervision, disciplinary actions. Serve as a nodal point to inform management on IR issues
• Responsible for handling all employee related issues / emergency situations such as accidents etc that happen in 2nd / 3rd shift 
• Develop and train staff to ensure high skill levels.  Motivate/encourage teamwork among the workforce and maintain high employee morale and positive attitudes to achieve high level customer satisfaction.
• Any other duty as assigned by the management

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s/ Diploma Degree plus a minimum of Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
