Location: Bengaluru - Manyata Tech Park
Business & Team: Technology Team is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service. CommBank is recognized as leading the industry in IT (Information Technology) and operations with its world-class platforms and processes, agile IT infrastructure, and innovation in everything from payments to internet banking and mobile apps.
The Chief Data Analytics Office (CDAO) provides specialized data services and platforms for the CommBank group and is accountable for developing Group s data strategy, data policy and standards, governance and set requirements for data enablers/tools. The team is also accountable to facilitate a community of practitioners to share best practice and build data talent and capabilities.
Impact & Contribution: To ensure the Group achieves sustainable competitive advantage through data & analytics, you will need to play a key role in supporting the CDO in executing to the Groups data strategy. You will utilize cutting-edge technologies to solve our customers hardest data centric problems. One of your key responsibilities will be to contribute to the design and build of MLOps framework, which will be leveraged by other LOBs in the group. This will include sound knowledge of the Groups data strategy, architecture and technology roadmap, aligning business needs and ensuring appropriate service levels of the CDO technology services. You will adopt tools and templates used across CDO that underpin our data and analytics capabilities for the Group projects.

- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and systems necessary for efficient MLOps including model deployment / monitoring / orchestration.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for ML use cases to ensure efficient and automated model deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build robust ML pipelines that can handle large datasets and traffic.
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to track model performance, data drift, and system health.
- Maintain security adherence and compliance standards, including data privacy and model explainability.
- Ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of MLOps processes, infrastructure, along with configurations.
- Work closely with cross functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps, to ensure smooth model deployment and operations.
- Provide guidance to junior members of the MLOps team.
- Operate within the CBA Group risk appetite and effectively manage strategic and operational risk related to data.
- Adhere to our Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behavior, actions and decisions we expect from our people.
- Agreements, SLOs (Service Level Objectives) and financial targets and results (Service Delivery Components) are achievable and adequate.
- Involvement in any audits of the services within your control and managing any subsequent follow-up activities.
Essential Skills:
- 8-10 years of Strong experience in building & packaging enterprise applications into Docker containers;
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools (e.g Git/GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Jenkins, etc.); Big Data, AWS /Cloud Services.
- Experience in automating repetitive tasks using Ansible, Terraform etc.
- Experience in AWS (EKS/ECS, CloudFormation) and Kubernetes
- Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement within the team and in delivery of products.
- Help to promote good coding standards and practices to ensure high quality.
- Good to have:
- Experience (good to have) in Python, Shell Scripting etc
- Basic understanding of database concepts, SQL
- Domain experience in finance, banking, Insurance
Education Qualification: Bachelor s degree/Master s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
