Eurofins is developing the eLIMS-NG solution (Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System, the Next Generation), a comprehensive and integrated suite of tools and applications to support testing business in our laboratories worldwide.
The functional Analyst will be a key part of the eLIMS-NG scrum teams, reporting to the Product Owner (or Delivery Manager), and be the functional expert responsible for analyzing the functional process and defining detailed functional specifications.
ROLE & OBJECTIVES :
Collaborate closely with the Product management team to understand the content of the eLIMS-NG User Requirements and the business process represented.
Model the user requirements from the Product Management team into functional and non-functional user stories with the appropriate set of supporting artefacts such as domain models and service requirements.
Validate the proposed solutions with the Product Owner and the Product Management team
Create, update and own Domain models as per the functional specifications
Initiate service requirements for new capabilities or changes in exiting capabilities in other systems, required to deliver the user stories/user requirements
Participate in Sprint Backlog management and optimization
Participate in Scrum Ceremonies and provide inputs to the development team during Daily Stand-up, Backlog refinement, Retrospective meetings. Ensure quality and conformity of what is delivered compared to business need
Support review of test cases for the implemented solution
Validate the implemented solution by the scrum team
Create and maintain User Manuals for the product functionality targeted at end users
Triage defects and tickets from customers. Be able to analyze deeper cause of failures by reproducing it, analyzing data issues and comparing with existing process.
Required skills
Science/Information Technology based university degree or similar educational background
Strong experience in translating requirements into functional specifications
Experience in working in Scrum based teams/Agile development methods
Affinity to and good understanding of IT-systems
Experience in service orientated software architecture
Experience in analyzing, describing, and challenging processes and workflows
Knowledge on SQL queries
Very good English language skills - written and verbal
Efficient time management and high-quality attitude
Very good team and communication skills
Personal qualities: autonomous, ability to summarize, organized
Preferred skills:
Experience in laboratory automation and or reporting technology
Experience in User Interface Design and knowledge of BPMN and UML
