Marketing Manager

Role & responsibilities

Receivables and Credit Control

• Set receivables targets for the month at the beginning of the month.
• Ensure on time collection from Customers.
• Ensuring overdue under control, preferably zero overdue
• Monitor and review the receivables collection on daily basis
• Send communication receivable statement to all customer in the beginning of the month
• Visit customers for critical receivables and escalate to management, when necessary

Market Intelligence and Market Development

• Design and implement a strategic business plan and pricing strategy that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence and reputation
• Identifying new market development or new product development opportunities
• Mapping and marketing of existing products and their applications to customers requirements
• Continuous tracking of competitors activity and products - application/ consumption /current supplier/ pricing/ credit terms/ introduction of new products / expansion of existing capacity
• Provide necessary information to management on customers, competitors and overall market
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management
• Prepare customer visit plans to efficiently engage with customers on a regular basis.

Marketing, Sales Support and Customer Relationship Management

• Understanding technical requirements from our customers and mapping it with our products
• Giving competitive offer for the respective inquiries received
• Order negotiation and finalization of the same
• Planning and control for delivery of products to customers
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with old and new customers
• Regular follow up with customers about their requirements and queries
• Responsible for effectively handling customer queries including technical queries with help of existing Principals

Preferred candidate profile

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Capability to lead independent meetings and interactions with customers
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability and motivation to drive the marketing and sales process from plan to close
• Strong business sense and industry expertise Minimum 10 years of experience in specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates preferred
• B. Sc must (Chemical preferred); Masters in Marketing preferred
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets with strong technical knowledge an added advantage
• Willingness to travel on the field anywhere in Hyderabad
