Anchor investment raising, private placement, and team building. Handling IPO / SME IPO/ Fund Raising activities / Valuation report. Spearheading merchant banking activities/ assignments including valuations, certifications, esops, etc. Networking with sme and large Corporate for their mb requirements- Strong knowledge of policies and procedures wrt to sme ipos, must have handled sme ipos and exposed to Mainboard ipos, experience in business development and execution of all types of mb activities. Marketing of Investment banking in connection with loan syndication. Exposure and some experience in private equity/venture funding, ma deals. Experience in dealing with all relevant authorities and institutions for MB and IB activities. Merchant, or investment, bankers work to advise companies on how to increase their financial profits through a range of processes such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and refinancing debt, and advising clients on where to raise capital and how much. Investment bankers specialize in different business areas known as mergers and acquisitions (MA), debt capital markets, and equity capital markets. Typical day-to-day activities of an investment banker include researching the conditions and developments of the market and then developing appropriate financial solutions for clients Requirements- 1. He should have a flair for meeting with corporate including SME companies and developing relationships with continuous follow-up with them. 2. A self-starter and go-getter attitude. 3. Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry analyses including comparable company peer analyses, valuations, and projections. 4. Develop and maintain basic financial models. 5. Perform industry research make detailed industry notes. 6. Create a database of companies from different sources. 7. Keep active track of transactions in the capital market domain and provide inputs to the team. 8. Interact with clients (promoters cfos) to obtain information and handle queries Ability to analyze.
