Job Summary
As a successful Agile Scrum Master to join our dynamic team at Comcast, you will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our organisation, ensuring the company can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions. You will work closely with the product development team to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality. Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to our team - helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently. Job Description
Core Responsibilities
o Collaborate with stakeholders, system architects and IT teams to understand requirements to enrich the platform and enhance the user experience
o Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and backlog items are prioritized and partner with Developers to design and implement the solutions
o Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
o Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
o Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
o Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
o Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
o Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
o Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
o Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
o Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
o Acts as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives.

Education
Bachelors Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
