Job Description
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies:
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration during each meeting.
- Guide and Coach the Team:
- Educate the team on agile practices, Scrum framework, and adherence to agile principles.
- Support the team in self-organization and foster an environment of trust and psychological safety.
- Manage Impediments:
- Identify and remove obstacles that may prevent the team from achieving sprint goals.
- Proactively address conflicts, dependencies, and any external issues that impact team productivity.
- Promote Continuous Improvement:
- Encourage a culture of feedback and learning within the team.
- Track team performance and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and facilitating action items from
- Serve as a Liaison:
- Act as a bridge between the development team, Product Owner, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain Transparency:
- Ensure transparency in project progress and status through effective use of agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Keep sprint backlog, sprint burndown charts, and team performance metrics up to date and visible to all
- Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent.
- Experience:
- 2+ years as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile role.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and agile frameworks.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with agile project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Key Competencies
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive in identifying and resolving challenges
- 8-10 years of experience is required.
- Great Communication skills.
