Hiring - Senior Release Manager - Columbus Global

Job Objective

A Senior Release Manager is responsible for coordinating the various stakeholders including developers, operations, and projects into one shared schedule that takes end goals, resources, and timelines into considerations. The objective of Release Management is to plan, schedule and control the continuous delivery of new Changes to the production environment. Specifically, the Release Manager is responsible for the Release lifecycle and its activities. A Senior Release Manager also delivers Transition Management, Change Enablement and other services delivered by our team.

The Release manager should have great communication and coordination skills. In an enterprise, a release is comprised of a mix of vendors, business units, projects, testers, and developers that are geographically dispersed and the Release Manager works collaboratively with all participants. Besides managing the release lifecycle, the Release manager is also responsible for reporting to various levels in the organization from Business unites to CTOs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Govern and run the release process including continuous improvement
• Collaborating and communicating with all stakeholders
• Preparing and facilitating Transition, change and release meetings
• Create and maintain Transition, Change and release documentation
• Maintaining, organize and participate in systems such as Azure DevOps and Service Now etc
• Lead customer services delivery for customers across UK, DK, NO, SE and US
• Lead, train and mentor junior resources

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or master's degree
• Role Specific Qualifications Good to have: Project management, Scrum master, agile management, ITIL or similar qualifications
• 12+ years of experience from similar role in the technology industry
• Experience with Project management in Dynamics, is desirable

• TIL 4
• Microsoft D365FO & CE Or Any other ERP (God to have)
• Microsoft Azure DevOps and Office 365
• Service Now
