Hiring - Sr Specialist (India Payroll) - Columbus Global - Hyderabad

Job Objective

Senior Payroll Specialist (India Payroll) will be a part of the Columbus Global Finance Operations team and will be based out of Columbus India entity. This person works closely with the HR, Finance, payroll vendor and other teams and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, payroll accounting & MIS reporting.

Required Qualifications

• MBA Finance or bachelors degree in commerce OR Any Equivalent Degree
• 6 to 9 years of working experience in payroll processing and accounting.
• Fluent in English, oral and written.
• Proficient in MS office, especially MS Excel.
• Previous work experience in India Payroll processing
• Accountability & team player
• Good Oral and written communication
• Fair excel skills.
• Good understanding of Indian payroll process & compliances 

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the end-to-end payroll processes.
• Work in co-ordination with HR, Finance and other teams
• Consolidate payroll inputs like bonuses, allowances & others and share with payroll vendor.
• Validation of payroll generated by the vendor and ensure completeness and accuracy in payouts.
• Ensure timely & accurate payroll processing.
• Payroll accounting and reconciliations
• Ensure compliances are paid and filed within the timelines like PF, PT, LWF, ESI, TDS payment/returns, Form 16 etc.,
• Co-ordinate with consultants and vendors like Sodexo, NPS vendor etc.,
• Full and final settlement for exit employees
• Employee orientation on payroll and reimbursement processes
• Co-ordination with employees on tax declarations, investment submissions, reimbursements etc.,
• Simplify, automate & document the processes.
