Job Description
- Strongdesign and administration experience in at least one of the DBs - Sybase IQ(preferably), SAP, Oracle or Teradata
- Experiencewith DB technologies (Replication, partitioning, security, performance tuning,memory management, SQL tuning, statistics gathering, Application audit logs,Scheduling, etc
- Excellentunderstanding and experience in interpreting the reports generated fromDB/tools and resolve performance issues
- Knowledgein ETL (Extract, Tranform, Load) projects using Informatica PowerCenter
- Knowledgeof Control-M or other scheduling tools
- ExcellentInterpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Existingtrack record of accomplishment, effectiveness with handling customers andmanaging complex data management needs
Requirements- DB (Oracle or SybaseIQ or Teradata or SAP HANA)
- Database performance tuning, Load balancing, Databaseroadmap preparations
- DB monitoring, logging, analysis, reporting and presentation
- Data warehousing concepts
- Strong SQL language knowledge and performance tuningexperience

- Scheduling Tools (preferably Control-M)
- Acts as the primary point of contact for issues related tothe Sybase IQ Database,managing escalations and ensuring timely resolution andcommunication with stakeholders.
- Evaluates and manages new user access requests,maintains up-to-date records of all users and stakeholders, and handles usermanagement-related communications to keep everyone informed about relevantupdates and support issues.
