Use a diverse range of Media broadcast and production monitoring tools to identify and resolve complex service impacting issues across a range of technologies and platforms.
Initiate response to service disruption and support proactive measures aimed at preventing recurrence.
Accurate logging of incidents accurately including technical response and action taken.
Implementing contingency procedures in response to planned or unexpected events
Handover of incident and information across shift changes.
Keep informed of operational changes ensuring that actions are taken in line with best practice.
Requirements
Knowledge,skills, training and experience
Experience andexcellent knowledge in News media tools and applications ( A/V Matrix, Talkback, Audio and Video Mixer, Camera\u2019s, Outside Broadcast Live etc. )
Excellent Knowledge of BasebandSignal workflow.
Experience in media(Radio, TV and Digital) and creative environments.
Excellent Knowledge of Streaming Solution
Good Knowledge of RTMP, SRT, UDP, Zixi etc.
Excellent knowledge of Dante, midi and AES
Knowledge of handlingof outdoor live broadcast is Plus.
Good Understanding of NDI tools
Experience ofinstallations, configurations and maintenance of IT and Broadcast Kits.
Broad technicalknowledge, including understanding of complex Broadcast and Media systems builtfrom separate components
Experience ofoperating within, or demonstrable knowledge of, multi-platform environments
Experience insupporting a wide range of broadcast and production technologies, systems andequipment.
Experience of loggingand managing incidents in an operational environment
Familiarity withusing a range of diagnostic and monitoring tools.
Troubleshooting anddiagnosing defects in complex systems
Able to createsupporting documentation.
Able to prioritiesaccording to service impact and work under pressure
Good problem-solvingskills.
