Collection Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Follow up for Cheques: Responsible for contacting clients and customers to ensure timely collection of payments through cheque.
2. Follow up for Collections through RTGS/NEFT: Manage and track payments made through electronic funds transfer methods, such as RTGS and NEFT.
3. Follow up for Overdues: Monitor and follow up on overdue payments to facilitate prompt resolution.
4. Follow up for TDS Certificates: Communicate with clients to obtain and verify TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) certificates as required for financial and tax compliance.
5. Follow up for Interest Collection: Ensure that any interest due on outstanding payments is collected and recorded accurately.
6. Follow up for Confirmation of Balances: Coordinate with clients and customers to confirm outstanding balances and resolve any discrepancies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Freshers to 3 years of relevant experience in collections or a similar role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with payment processing methods, including cheques, RTGS, and NEFT.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for tracking and managing collections.
