Job Description

  • In todays multifaceted technology environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the information technology team at Colgate!
  • Our highly technical and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this constantly evolving landscape

    • What role will you play as a member of the Colgates Supply Chain Finance (SCF) team

  • Perform Cost release for New Products
  • Perform New Optima Lane Testings
  • Optima Surcharge Maintenance and review accuracy of Surcharge pushdowns
  • Clear Open Item for failure cases auto invoice posting
  • Run and Review exception report to identify purchase and sales difference, (CX1, CX2 Export and Inventory) and take necessary action
  • Analysis of Purchase Price Variance there push down to other subsidiaries
  • Perform Inventory clearing
  • Perform Cost of Goods Sold analysis take vital action
  • Perform Month End Closing Margin/Variable cost
  • Lease Contract accounting
  • Fixed Assets Accounting Reporting
  • Supporting Statutory audit closure and interacting with auditors, issue resolution, etc Monthly GL Analysis
  • Monthly/Quarterly/yearly reporting
  • Monthly Sox testing zero audit findings
  • Posting Rule based and Judgement based entries

    • Who Are You

    You are an Analyst -

  • Perform all accounting activities as per the defined SOPs
  • Implement intercompany transactions
  • Perform the entire range of activities pertaining to Costing, Fixed assets and closing books of accounts
  • Support Statutory audit and other activities
  • Perform all the compliances as per SOX guidelines

    • You connect the dots -

  • Ensure that all the accounting is in compliance with the US GAAPs
  • Ensure the effective controls are maintained to achieve high accuracy as per the internal company guidelines

    • You are a collaborator -

  • Review and timely resolution of all audit queries
  • Review the SOP periodically and recommend vital changes as and when needed in consultation with relevant collaborators

    • You are an innovator -

  • Participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives as well as other business partner initiatives

    • What Youll Need (Required)

  • Any Graduate or CWA
  • 1-2 years
  • SAP Experience
  • Experience in supply chain/costing activities and closing
  • What youll need(Preferred):
  • Strong communication
  • Proven understanding of MS Office
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Cost and Plant accounting
