Program Engineer

Role Overview:

The Program Engineer is responsible for developing and optimizing programs for robots, PLCs, and HMIs to ensure efficient and smooth automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Robot Programming & Motion Control:

• Develop robot programs in KRL, RAPID, KAREL, or VAL3.
• Optimize motion sequences, path planning, and cycle time.
• Program TCP settings, tool offsets, and payload configurations.
• Integrate force sensors, vision systems, and AI-based object recognition.

2. PLC & HMI Development:

• Develop PLC logic using Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley RSLogix, or Mitsubishi GX Works.
• Implement HMI screens for operator interaction, diagnostics, and alarm handling.

3. Integration & Testing:

• Conduct I/O mapping and communication setup between PLCs, robots, and sensors.
• Test safety interlocks, emergency stops, and functional sequences.

Key Skills Required:

• Knowledge of PLC programming, robot programming, and industrial automation.
• Experience with ladder logic, structured text, and motion control functions.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Robotics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in robot programming and PLC automation.
