Azure Devops - Cognizant Hiring

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer B2 with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure DevOps GitLab . Net Programming (VB . Net ASP. NET Core Web API C# . Net) React JS SQL ASP. NET Core Node. js and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using . Net Programming (VB . Net ASP. NET Core Web API C# . Net) to meet business requirements.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Design and develop user interfaces using React JS to enhance user experience and application performance.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and database structures to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP. NET Core Web API to support various application functionalities.
• Utilize Node. js for server-side development ensuring efficient and scalable backend solutions.
• Implement cloud-based solutions using Azure leveraging its services to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Have 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in software development particularly.
• Demonstrate expertise in Azure DevOps GitLab . Net Programming (VB . Net ASP. NET Core Web API C# . Net) React JS SQL ASP. NET Core Node. js and Azure.
• Show strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Display a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
