Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of AS400 system, ensuring smooth functioning and minimal downtime.
  
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, patches, and updates to prevent system failures.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to AS400 applications and resolve them efficiently.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in AS400 administration or a related field.
  
• Strong understanding of ISeries operating systems (ISP) and its various modules (e.g., DB2).
  
• Proficiency in performing backups, patch management, troubleshooting techniques for AS400 applications.
  
• Experience working with IBM iSeries platforms; knowledge of RPG programming language an added advantage.
