Job description - Salesforce Testing

• 3-16 years of experience in Software Testing
• Salesforce QA Tester will be responsible for the design, documentation, and execution of automated and manual test cases, and scripts across all stages of the software development life cycle (Agile/SCRUM).
• Prepare functional, non-functional and User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases.
• Strong in analyzing business requirements and specifications and development of test plans, test scripts, test cases and executing them
• Formulating, defining, and documenting complex business requirements and associated system specifications.
• Ability to coordinate with Clients, Business Analysts, and Tech teams.
• Working closely with development teams to design, build and test applications
• Prepare test cases from user stories created for the project.
• Prioritising critical deadlines and multi-tasking across projects
• Work proactively and assist development team in troubleshooting and determining root-cause of application defects and issues
• Document test results and communicate to Project Management and other Project Stakeholders
• Understand and contribute in product requirements, architecture and design. Ensure product design is inherently testable (e.g., suggest automation hooks, develop performance metric)
• Adhere to best practices in testing while continuing to improve the quality and productivity.
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle
• Good in communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and client-focused
• Should have worked in Agile projects and have knowledge of Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)
• Experience in JIRA/ Confluence and similar test management tools
• Hands-on experience in smoke testing, functional testing, data migration, regression testing, shakedown testing etc.
• Should have knowledge of API (SOAP and REST), API testing tools like Postman etc.
• Have some experience working in Salesforce projects which involve Community and sales/service cloud
• Knowledge of cross-browser, and mobile responsive testing for Android, iOS platforms, etc.
• Contribute to sprint planning, sprint retrospective, task identification, and QA estimation
• Experience in defining testing Methodologies, Designing Test strategy, Test Plan, test cases, and Test sign-offs
• Provide technical mentorship to the QA team and remove blockers for the QA team
• Regression Optimization: Maintain the Regression suite according to the latest changes. Prioritization of test cases selection of regression candidates for sprint releases
• UAT Support: Support test execution and test data setup, UAT demos, UAT defect triage, UAT Go/No-Go call, UAT status report
• Defect Management management Test reporting: Review prioritize defects, Defect RCA, Defect Triage Reporting Testing Status
• Process Improvement: Ensure a continual process improvement within the QA team to ensure Quality is adhered to during testing
• Implement and track the necessary quality metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count, etc.) to meet the desired quality objectives
• Collaborate with internal teams (developers, architect, project managers, UI/UX team) to deliver high-quality software products
• Automation testing experience in Selenium (preferred) or similar tools
• Accountable for introducing Advanced Testing practices, Test Automation Strategies and implementation for QA team
• Should be open to performing hands-on testing within the QA team
