Data Lead / Architect

CogniSure is seeking highly skilled and motivated Data Lead to join our IT team. This role will be pivotal in leading data initiatives, managing complex data workflows, and ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms. Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable, as it plays a significant role in our data architecture.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the companys data infrastructure (Snowflake and SQL), ensuring it supports business goals and scalability.
• Develop and implement data architecture and data models that meet the organization's strategic requirements.
• Oversee the management of data pipelines, ETL processes, and ensure data quality and accuracy across systems.
• Act as the subject matter expert for Snowflake and provide guidance on best practices and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify data needs, and implement data solutions.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior data team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management.
• Experience in Snowflake is highly desirable
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages for data management.
• Experience with Snowflake, including schema design, data ingestion, and performance tuning, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
