QA Engineer-Automation

Role & responsibilities

• Basic understanding of enterprise applications, business processes, and workflows
• Exposure to API and UI test automation using Selenium, TestComplete, or similar tools
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
• Basic knowledge of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation
• Understanding of test case management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git) is a plus
• Eagerness to learn and improve QA automation skills

Preferred candidate profile

• Assist in testing enterprise applications, ensuring accuracy in processes and workflows
• Execute manual and automated test cases for API and UI validation
• Support in developing basic automated scripts for testing
• Perform data validation checks and assist in verifying data consistency across systems
• Identify and report defects, collaborating with developers for issue resolution
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to test case creation
• Work under guidance to implement test automation frameworks and strategies
• Stay updated with QA methodologies and industry best practices
