Support Engineer-IT

Role & responsibilities

• Provide timely and efficient technical support to users at his location, ensuring high levels of satisfaction for them.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, network, and system issues across various platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.).
• Should have knowledge of Active Directory, services and Group Policies.
• Handle complex technical problems by researching and identifying solutions, collaborating with team when necessary.
• Assist in the configuration, setup, and maintenance of company systems, networks, and software applications.
• Document technical issues and solutions to build a knowledge base for internal use.
• Manage incident and ticket lifecycle using the our internal ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to level-2 engineer.
• Monitor systems, services, and network performance, and act proactively to prevent future problems.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in CS, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1-4 years of experience as support engineer role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Flexible for night shifts.
