AREA SALES MANAGER

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) for automobile sales is responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance within a specific geographic area. This position focuses on managing a team of sales representatives, building relationships with dealerships, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

• Dealer and Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships and customers in the assigned area.
• Act as the key point of contact for dealers, ensuring effective communication and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer complaints, provide timely solutions, and ensure customer retention.
• Identify and build long-term relationships with potential new dealerships or strategic partners.
• Market and Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct regular market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitors' activities.
• Analyze sales data and competitor offerings to position the companys products effectively.
• Provide feedback on market conditions and product requirements to senior management.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
• Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, outlining potential growth opportunities and sales targets for the area.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, performance, and competitor insights.
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of sales campaigns, promotions, and dealer initiatives.
• Promotions and Marketing Support:
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop regional campaigns, advertisements, and promotional events.
• Ensure the effective implementation of promotional offers and campaigns at the dealership level.
• Help organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to boost brand visibility.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
