Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate should have experience in legal documentation including security creation and handling non-litigation matters in respect of lending business.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including but not limited to Facility Agreement, Mortgage Documents, Pledge Agreement, POA, DOH, MOUs, NDA, Legal Notices, Term Sheets,
- Advisory Role: Offer legal advice on various issues related to the company's business, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
- Document Scrutiny: Scrutinize and advise on agreements, security documents, and other legal documents, ensuring they are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate these risks effectively.
- Candidates must have an understanding of litigation.
- Coordinating and liaison with external law firms and various internal cross-functional departments of the Company.
- Participate in negotiations with the clients in conformance with internal requirements, risk identification and mitigation and handing of customer queries.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Laws: General corporate laws including Contract Act, Companies Act,
- Securities Laws, and Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act, Real Estate Laws.
- Analytical Skills: Possess an analytical mind with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, offering practical and effective solutions.
- Drafting Skills: Excellent drafting skills, ensuring all legal documents are precise and accurate.
- Detail-Oriented: Maintain a high level of attention to detail aiming for 'first time right' execution; to ensure accuracy and compliance in all legal documents and processes.
