Your Role:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will lead manual testing efforts, ensuring our products are robust, reliable, and deliver an exceptional user experience. While manual testing is your primary focus, knowledge of automation tools and API testing will be an added advantage in enhancing the quality of our processes.

What You’ll Do:

Advanced Manual Testing:

• Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Conduct functional, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure product quality.
• Simulate real-world user scenarios to uncover usability and performance issues.
• Document and track defects meticulously, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

API Testing:

• Validate APIs for functionality, performance, and reliability using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Ensure APIs integrate seamlessly with other system components.
• Perform boundary testing, error handling, and data validation for APIs.

Collaborative Problem Solving:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and identify potential risks.
• Provide actionable feedback to improve product quality and testability during the development cycle.
• Advocate for user-centric testing, ensuring products meet user needs and expectations.

Out-of-the-Box Thinking:

• Analyze and identify edge cases and uncommon scenarios to deliver high-quality software.
• Innovate and adapt testing strategies for projects with unique challenges.
• Bring fresh ideas to improve the overall QA process and efficiency.

Leadership and Mentorship:

• Mentor junior QA team members, sharing advanced testing techniques and best practices.
• Drive a culture of quality within the team, setting standards for thorough and efficient testing.
• Lead efforts to improve the QA process, documentation, and reporting.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years of manual testing experience, with a focus on advanced and exploratory testing techniques.
• API Testing: Good knowledge of API testing with tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to catch even the smallest defects and inconsistencies.
• Logical and Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex scenarios and identify root causes.
• Knowledge of Automation: Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium or Cypress is a plus.
• Testing Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Trello, or any defect-tracking software.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactivity: A self-starter who takes ownership of quality assurance efforts.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Basic scripting knowledge for test automation.
• Certification such as ISTQB or equivalent.
