Job Description :

We are seeking a proficient Database with extensive experience in both MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and optimizing stored procedures, with a preference for those who have experience migrating databases between MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities :

Database : Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views in both MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.

Data Migration : Plan and execute database migrations between MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.

Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize database performance, including query tuning and index management, to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

Database Design : Collaborate with application developers and functional experts to design and implement effective database schemas that meet business requirements.

Maintenance and Support : Perform routine database maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups, and provide support for database-related issues.

Documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database schemas, stored procedures, and data migration processes.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
