We are seeking a talented Scala Developer with expertise in developing applications using modern frameworks, microservices architecture, and database integration. The ideal candidate is passionate about scalable and efficient software solutions and has experience working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Frameworks & Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Scala with Akka or Lagom frameworks.

- Build and optimize microservices architectures for seamless integration and scalability.

Containerized Applications :

- Develop and deploy containerized solutions using tools like Docker.

- Manage container orchestration for performance and scalability.

Messaging & Streaming :

- Implement distributed messaging systems using Apache Pulsar.

Database Integration :

- Integrate and manage data using Slick Connector with PostgreSQL databases.

- Optimize database queries for performance and reliability.

Search Integration :

- Use Elastic Search to enhance application search functionalities and optimize retrieval.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering and solution design.

- Adhere to Agile development methodologies for iterative project delivery.

Mandatory Skills :

- Proficient in Scala with experience in Akka or Lagom frameworks.

- Strong understanding of microservices architectures.

- Experience with containerized applications.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Pulsar for messaging systems.

- Proficiency with Slick Connector for database integration and PostgreSQL.

- Knowledge of Elastic Search for search and retrieval functionalities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with Agile development practices.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements :

Experience : 4-8 years in relevant technologies.

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days.

Location : Pune (Work from Office).

Preference : Only Pune local candidates (no relocation cases).
