Oracle EBS Developer - PL-SQL (7-10 yrs)

Job Description :

The Oracle EBS Developer will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications. The role involves coding, unit testing, troubleshooting, and developing technical solutions for complex business processes while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Maintenance :

- Understand the current solution through reverse engineering techniques.

- Ensure the execution of all batch jobs without delays or quality issues.

- Maintain applications, including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and performance tuning.

Development and Testing :

- Code and unit test application software for production support, enhancements, and projects.

- Develop components such as extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows independently or collaboratively.

Troubleshooting and Debugging :

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.

- Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance.

Technical Solution Delivery :

- Develop technical solutions based on pre-defined requirements.

- Work in a cross-functional environment, integrating IT and business processes to support strategic needs.

Collaboration and Leadership :

- Work closely with IT leaders to align decisions with long-term objectives.

- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks effectively.

Key Skills and Expertise :

Technical Skills :

- Strong programming skills in SQL and PL/SQL.

- Proficient in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12, with in-depth knowledge of Financial Modules (AR, AP, GL, Order Management, and Purchase).

- Exposure to Inventory and Fixed Assets modules is a plus.

- Familiarity with Oracle scheduling tools and OA Framework.

Experience :

- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle ERP (R12 is mandatory).

- Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality software solutions consistently.
