Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Appian Developer to join our team. As an Appian Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions using the Appian BPM platform, focusing on Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and SQL technologies.

This role offers flexibility with remote work options for C2H candidates, and on-site work in Bangalore for Permanent candidates.

Key Responsibilities :

Appian Development :

- Develop and implement solutions using Appian BPM for process automation, workflow management, and integrations.

- Design and develop model-driven applications, user interfaces, and business rule logic using Appian's no-code/low-code features.

- Implement process models, decision tables, and forms to optimize business processes.

Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) & Integration :

- Design and implement ESB solutions for integrating with other enterprise systems.

- Work on the integration of Appian with internal and third-party systems, using REST APIs, Web Services, and SOAP for seamless communication.

SQL & Database Integration :

- Utilize SQL for data manipulation and integration tasks between Appian and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).

- Develop efficient and optimized queries to handle large data sets and integrate Appian applications with existing databases.

Agile Development :

- Collaborate with Agile teams to implement changes and improvements iteratively, working closely with stakeholders and business analysts.

- Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Performance Optimization :

- Monitor and optimize the performance of Appian applications for efficiency, scalability, and security.

- Troubleshoot issues in development, testing, and production environments and provide technical support.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of overall software development experience, with a focus on Appian BPM.

- 5+ years of experience specifically in Appian BPM development, working with process automation, workflow management, and enterprise integrations.

- Strong knowledge of ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) for application integration and data exchange between systems.

- Proficiency in SQL with experience in querying relational databases and optimizing database performance.

- Ability to implement Appian solutions that align with business needs, ensuring flexibility, scalability, and maintainability.

- Experience working with Appian's low-code development platform and a strong understanding of BPM concepts.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively interact with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Appian Certifications (Appian Certified Developer, Appian Certified Architect, or similar) are highly preferred.

- Familiarity with cloud environments such as Appian Cloud.

- Experience with integration frameworks like RESTful APIs, SOAP, or Web Services.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
