IBM ACE Developer - Integration & Configuration (5-8 yrs)

We are seeking a Senior Developer/Lead with expertise in IBM integration technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, and API Connect, and will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex integrations. The role also involves working with multiple teams to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure smooth integration operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand Existing Integrations : Analyze the current IBM ACE integrations across the IT landscape, ensuring proper functionality and performance.

- Technical Guidance & Leadership : Lead discussions with internal and external stakeholders, provide expert guidance to the support team, and suggest improvements to existing processes and systems.

- Redesign and Development : Design, develop, and re-engineer IBM App Connect Enterprise applications to meet organizational and technical standards.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Address critical production issues, provide technical support, troubleshoot complex problems, and offer solutions to resolve integration-related challenges.

- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : Collaborate with various teams to perform in-depth root cause analysis for integration issues and provide actionable recommendations.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation to support the developed solutions, including architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting guides.

- Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend automation strategies to streamline integration workflows.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 5-8 years of experience in integration development, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience specifically with IBM ACE.

- IBM ACE Expertise : Strong proficiency in IBM App Connect Enterprise and configuration.

- IBM Product Knowledge : Solid understanding of other IBM products such as IBM Data Power, IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4i), and IBM API Connect.

- Protocol Knowledge : Deep understanding of integration protocols including HTTP/s, FTP/s, SFTP, MQ, and AS2.

- Development & Troubleshooting Skill s: Ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot integration solutions effectively.

- Collaboration : Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

- Cloud & Platform Experience : Familiarity with IBM MQ, IBM App Connect, and Open Shift platform.

- DevOps Knowledge : Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and related DevOps practices is highly desirable.
