We are looking for a Product Manager for our CockroachDB Cloud Administration team. This team is responsible for the infrastructure that powers CockroachDB Cloud s operations, encompassing everything from internal administrative dashboards to billing infrastructure, and AWS, GCP and Azure marketplace integrations.
You will:
Define the product strategy and roadmap for how to evolve our billing platform. Sample projects would include building fine grained billing for our Cloud offerings, providing customers with better visibility and estimation tools, evaluating our current tech stack for billing and making necessary changes that support the future of the business.
Be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our AWS, GCP and Azure marketplace integrations that allow customers to purchase and consume CockroachDB Cloud using multiple payment methods (eg, pay as you go, credit cards, contract).
Ensure internal customers across engineering, sales and product can get the visibility and transparency necessary via tooling and dashboards to successfully perform their functions to support Cloud customers.
The Expectations
In the first 30-60 days, you will go through PM onboarding with your onboarding mentor (Roachmate). You will familiarize yourself with the current state of billing infrastructure, marketplace integrations and Cloud administrative tooling (internal and customer facing).
You will create Cloud clusters, and try out the core features, to get a sense of the end to end experience including marketplace and billing elements. You ll review our current backlog, get up to speed on in-flight features, and understand the most pressing problems today.
After 90 days, you will be fully integrated into the team. There are countless opportunities for us to invest in and you will be responsible for prioritizing the ones that will exceed our customer s expectations and allow them to seamlessly integrate CockroachDB into their operations. You will also be expected to be a partner to our Sales team and meet with customers, as required.
You Have
Background in any one of: billing, customer success, integrations, consumer facing products.
3- 5 years of total work experience with enterprise or SaaS products and three years as a PM.
Delivered successful customer-facing products or features by partnering with Engineering teams
A collaborative approach and an eagerness to partner with other product teams and all other functions in the company such as Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Sales
