Assistant Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Handle accounting ledgers by validating and forwarding account operations
• Ensure the Purchase/Sales/Receipts/Payments Entries accounted in Properly as per Direct/Indirect Taxation
• Reconcile Supplier/Customer accounts statement and resolve any discrepancies.
• Communicate with supplier/Customer and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Generate and reconcile weekly vendor payment runs and perform specific quality checks
• Organize and maintain accounting records
• Allocate petty cash by documenting entry, validating all documentation
• Smooth payment and Bank operation with Team Members
• Assist in month-end closing and audit activities.
• If required any task assigned by Line Manager

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Commerce and Accounts
• At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or relevant field
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
