JD for NPD Dy. Manager
 New Product Design & Development: Lead the design and development of new products, ensuring that they meet technical, functional, and aesthetic requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure successful product launches.
 Machining Process Optimization: Apply your machining expertise to select and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production workflows, cost-effective material usage, and high-quality product output.
 Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the creation of prototypes, testing and iterating designs to improve product performance and manufacturability. Ensure that designs are scalable and can be produced in high volumes with minimal revisions.
 Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, R&D teams, and manufacturing to ensure seamless communication throughout the development process. Provide technical support to teams involved in product testing and production.
 Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all new products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead the implementation of quality control processes during development and production.
 Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the product development lifecycle, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve product features, and enhance production processes.
 Project Management: Manage product development timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively to meet project goals and deadlines
 Machining Expertise: In-depth knowledge of machining processes such as CNC machining, turning, milling, grinding, and additive manufacturing. Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
 Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify, address, and resolve technical challenges throughout the development process.
 Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively across departments.
 Project Management Skills: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage resources efficiently.
 Attention to Detail: A strong focus on precision, quality, and innovation, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in designs and prototypes.
 Process Estimation & Costing: Prepare cycle time and process estimations for new parts, particularly in machining, to calculate and manage part costs.
 PPAP Documentation: Lead the creation of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and work with customers to gain approval for new parts.
 Team Collaboration & Motivation: Be an active and motivating team member to achieve organizational goals, particularly focusing on meeting timelines for sample submissions and project milestones.
