Sap Fico Consultant

We are looking for an experienced and skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our team, with expertise in SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) and HANA implementation. The consultant will play a key role in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP FICO solutions for our clients, including transitioning systems to SAP HANA. This is a great opportunity for professionals with a strong SAP FICO background and experience in S/4HANA migrations and implementations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• SAP FICO Implementation & Configuration: Lead and support the end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules (Financial Accounting and Controlling) to meet business requirements.
• HANA Migration & Implementation: Manage or support SAP S/4 HANA implementations and migrations, ensuring smooth transition and optimization of SAP FICO processes within the HANA environment.
• Integration & Customization: Work on the integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS, etc.), customize the solutions based on business needs, and ensure seamless data flow across the system.
• Process Optimization: Advise clients on SAP FICO best practices to optimize business processes and improve financial and controlling operations.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct system tests (unit, integration, UAT) to ensure proper configuration and functionality of the SAP FICO module. Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot any issues.
• Documentation & Training: Prepare detailed documentation, including configuration documents, user guides, and training materials. Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and clients.
• Client Interaction & Support: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their financial and controlling processes, and provide tailored SAP FICO solutions to address business needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP updates, particularly in the context of S/4 HANA and FICO, and proactively suggest improvements to optimize system performance and business operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 3-7 years of experience in SAP FICO module implementation, configuration, and support. Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects is essential.
• Expertise in SAP FICO: Deep understanding of SAP FICO configuration (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, etc.) and integration with other modules (MM, SD, etc.).
• HANA Expertise: Experience in migrating legacy SAP systems to SAP S/4 HANA, including working with SAP HANA features and technologies.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to SAP FICO and HANA systems.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Certifications: SAP FICO or SAP S/4 HANA certification is a plus.
• Education: A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working with SAP S/4HANA or HANA Cloud.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles and managing project timelines and deliverables.
• Experience with SAP FICO in industries like manufacturing, retail, or utilities is advantageous.
