Job Summary: We are seeking a Telecom Inventory Manager to oversee the management, tracking, and optimization of telecom equipment and materials. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of telecom inventory management processes and systems, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of telecom equipment, spare parts, and related materials.
• Procurement and Stocking: Oversee the procurement process for telecom equipment and materials, ensuring timely restocking and availability for field operations.
• Inventory Tracking: Use inventory management systems to track and monitor stock levels, usage, and transfers.
• Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock levels.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with telecom suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal pricing, delivery, and service.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and material costs. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement in inventory management processes.
• Forecasting & Demand Planning: Collaborate with project teams to forecast material needs for upcoming telecom installations and maintenance.
• Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of telecom assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the shipping, receiving, and storage of telecom inventory. Ensure timely delivery of equipment to field teams.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as operations, procurement, and project management to ensure inventory needs are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven experience in inventory management or logistics, preferably within the telecom industry.
• Strong understanding of telecom equipment, materials, and technologies.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret inventory reports.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with telecom asset management and lifecycle tracking.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to telecom inventory management.
• Project management experience.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with occasional field visits to warehouses or telecom sites.
• May require some evening or weekend work to meet deadlines or coordinate inventory shipments.
• Ability to lift and move inventory items (if necessary).
