Exp : 4+ years

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of data lakehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Synapse, Dataflows, and Power BI integration.

- Define and implement data ingestion strategies, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation, and data quality checks.

- Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and performance.

- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to optimize data pipelines and improve data accessibility.

- Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate data governance measures, including row-level security and Purview integration.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

- Document and communicate technical designs and solutions effectively.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly and efficiently.

Required Skills :

- Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric, including hands-on experience with OneLake, Synapse, Dataflows, and Power BI integration.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing Lakehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric.

- Proficiency in ETL/ELT pipeline design, data modeling, and performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.

- Knowledge of data governance, including security and compliance frameworks (e.g., row-level security, Purview integration).

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

- Experience with data virtualization and data mesh concepts
