Role & responsibilities

Job Summary: The Collections Manager will be responsible for overseeing the collections process for business loans. This role involves managing a team of collections officers, developing and implementing strategies to minimize delinquency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of credit risk management, and a proven track record in collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the collections team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize delinquency and bad debt.
• Monitor and analyze collections performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Handle escalated collections cases and negotiate payment plans with borrowers.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as credit and legal, to resolve complex cases.
• Conduct regular training and development sessions for the collections team.
• Maintain accurate records of collections activities and borrower communications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
