Requirements and Skills for .NET Developer

Mandatory Skills:

1. Programming Languages & Frameworks:
1. Proficiency in C# and .NET Core (latest version).
2. Expertise in ASP.NET Core for building web applications.
3. Strong knowledge of LINQ for efficient data querying.
2. Database Management:
1. Expertise in SQL Server, including writing optimized SQL queries.
2. Ability to write complex, critical SQL scripts for managing data operations and performing data corrections effectively.
3. Architecture & Design Patterns:
1. Proficiency in Entity Framework Core for Object-Relational Mapping (ORM).
2. Strong understanding and practical experience with CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) and Event-Driven Architecture to build scalable and decoupled systems.
3. Familiarity with architectural design patterns such as Repository Pattern, Service Layer, and Dependency Injection to build scalable applications.
4. API Development:
1. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs for creating scalable and maintainable services.
5. Version Control & Methodologies:
1. Hands-on experience with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
2. Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software development.
6. Unit Testing:
1. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit for writing and executing test cases to ensure code quality and reliability.
7. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
