ob Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Bench Sales Recruiter with 24 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in marketing IT consultants to Canadian staffing firms and direct clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the recruitment process, and the ability to build lasting relationships with vendors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bench Management:
   
• Handle a bench of IT consultants and market their profiles to clients and staffing vendors.
• Keep track of consultants' availability and proactively find suitable opportunities.
2. Vendor & Client Management:
   
• Develop and maintain relationships with Tier 1 vendors, staffing firms, and direct clients in Canada.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with vendors and clients.
3. Requirement Handling:
   
• Source requirements through job boards, portals, and vendor lists.
• Match consultants' skillsets with client needs and submit resumes accordingly.
4. Consultant Management:
   
• Maintain consistent communication with consultants to understand their preferences, availability, and location constraints.
• Prepare consultants for interviews and follow up with clients for feedback.
5. Documentation & Compliance:
   
• Ensure all necessary documentation for consultants is complete and up to date, including visas, work permits, and certifications.
• Follow Canadian employment and compliance guidelines.
6. Market Research & Analytics:
   
• Keep track of market trends, technologies in demand, and competitor analysis.
• Provide feedback and insights to improve marketing strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 24 years of proven experience as a Bench Sales Recruiter, preferably in the Canadian market.
• Knowledge: Understanding of Canadian recruitment practices, tax terms (C2C, W2, 1099), and compliance requirements.
• Tools: Proficiency in job portals (Dice, Monster, Indeed), LinkedIn, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Negotiation: Strong ability to negotiate rates and contracts with vendors and clients.
• Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple consultants and requirements simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with IT technologies, trends, and terminologies.
• Experience in handling work permits and visa statuses such as Open Work Permit, PR, or Canadian Citizenship.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and client/consultant engagement.
