Role Summary:

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer for the backend engineering team in the pre-dispatch vertical at ClickPost. You will be a core member of the team playing a vital role in developing the vertical through product developments, feature additions, scale-up and scale-out enhancements, system reliability and end-to-end user experience enhancements.

Within:

• 1 month you will be getting up to speed on the product, application processes and start rolling out your initial contributions to the real time impact generating production system.
• 4 months you will be owning the low level design and implementation of product developments and feature additions, contributing actively to the growth of the product and business. You will also be responsible for handling the day-to-day bugs / issues, acting as the engineering point of contact in the module.
• 12 months you will be owning end-to-end architecture design and implementation of the product developments and features. You will also be actively contributing to the core functions and initiatives of the module that are aimed at improving velocity, building reliability and automations, increasing scalability and visibility, all aimed at delivering a seamless user experience.

What you will need to crack this role

• Should have hands-on coding experience in developing and maintaining production applications.
• Should have a strong understanding of computer engineering fundamentals, server side programming, web applications and any related framework, relational databases, testing, software design and development principles.
• Should have clear communication.
• Should have a high zeal to learn, take initiatives and adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Good to have prior experience in the design, development and maintenance of a large scale server side application.
