Role Overview

We are looking to onboard a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design the electrical architecture of the battery, Cooling system, power distribution unit and charger as well as the integration of the battery with Vehicles, ESS system and many more. The role provides good ownership and first-hand exposure to the rapidly growing EV sector in India. You will be working closely with the core leadership team to deliver the proper electrical layout for the battery development.

Role Description and Key Responsibilities

The role involves tasks including but not limited to -

• Work with the design team to build the electric architecture of the battery including the wire routing and Component positioning, electrical component selection like Bus bar, Precharge component, fuse Etc.
• Manage tasks including battery power distribution unit design, SLD for ESS system, SLD for the battery pack etc.
• Work closely with the engineering team to coordinate the execution through requirement documentation, vehicle powertrain integration and logic finalization.
• Work with the firmware team and complete the battery integration
• Make a test plan and perform the electrical development test.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ year of relevant experience of electrical design engineer
• Preferred to have the experience in EV or automobile or ESS or Power grid sector
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Documentation like: SLD, Electrical architecture, test plan, report knowledge of: Basic electrical circuits, communication like CAN, UART, RS485, Ethernet
• Tools: AutoCAD electrical, CAN analyzer, Office

Location: Near Chakan, Pune, India (on-site)
