Reporting Developer

Design, develop and implementation of new and existing solutions supporting within R&D in support of metrics and KPI reporting and data visualization. Perform day to day operations including maintenance, deployment, and troubleshooting of solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop fast and efficient complex database queries, including joining and cross-referencing cells from several tables.
• Design and develop ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into target databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes.
• Performing validation on existing SQL queries to check whether it is aligned to business and technical requirements. This includes preparing findings to share with business stakeholders and work with technical teams to resolve any defects.
• Leveraging technical definitions (from production/non-production sources) to refine business definitions (from stakeholders)
• Translating business objectives to technical requirements that are actionable by the delivery team. Collaborating with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Working cohesively within a multidisciplinary team of Technical Analysts, Solution Designers, Developers and Stream Leads to complete projects to agreed scope and timeframes.
• Contributing to project planning and identifying scope and estimates
• Documenting technical solutions and hands on technical analysis (as needed). Develop and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's' degree in Computer Science or related field of study
• 3-5 years of experience in ETL Development with a Strong understanding of ETL concepts
• Hands on experience working in databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL) with a strong proficiency in ETL processes and data warehousing
• Hands on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Powercenter, SSIS or Talend
• Experience with creating visualizations and dashboards in Power BI
