E/E Test Engineer(Terminal Software)

Role & responsibilities

• Creation of test concepts and test specifications based on existing technical requirements
• Building and expanding a multi-layer, automated test environment for the automated testing of embedded terminal applications for our machines
• Test implementation and execution with direct access to testable properties of control and display elements of the terminal application to be tested
• Implementation of reusable templates for parameterizing repeated test sequences
• Accompanying documentation of the test implementation and methodology
• Preparation and documentation of test results

Preferred candidate profile

• Completed studies in the field of computer science or electrical engineering or comparable
• Frofound programming knowledge in C, C++ and Python
• Initial professional experience in the context of embedded Linux or GUI testing (e.g. Squish for Qt) is advantageous
• Certification as ISTQB Certified Tester desirable.
