Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer with 2+ years of experience to create engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly content. The candidate will be responsible for developing content that attracts and nurtures potential students, enhances brand awareness, and drives enrolments through various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with marketing goals.
• Research industry trends, student preferences, and competitor strategies to create unique and engaging content.
• Collaborate with the SEO, social media, and design teams to optimize content for different platforms.

2. Email, WhatsApp & SMS Content

• Craft high-converting email campaigns for student nurturing, application reminders, and event promotions.
• Write WhatsApp and SMS messages for lead follow-ups and engagement.
• Develop drip campaigns to guide students through the enrollment process.

3. Social Media & Engagement Content

• Create compelling social media posts, captions, reels scripts, and LinkedIn articles to increase engagement.
• Develop thought leadership content for faculty members and institutional branding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, video, social media) to ensure aligned messaging and effective content execution.
• Research and incorporate trending topics, hashtags, and keywords into social content.

4. Ad Copywriting & Lead Generation Content

• Write engaging ad copies for Google Ads and Meta Ads to drive student inquiries.
• Develop high-converting CTAs (Call-to-Action) for campaigns.

5. Proofreading & Editing

• Ensure all content is grammatically correct, plagiarism-free, and aligned with brand tone.
• Work closely with the design and media team to enhance content with infographics and visuals.

Key Skills & Tools Required:

• Writing & Editing: Exceptional grammar, storytelling, and research skills.
• Basic SEO Knowledge: Understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
• Social Media Writing: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter.
• Email Marketing Tools: Mailchimp, Active Campaign, or HubSpot.
• AI Writing & Research Tools: Grammarly, Jasper AI, ChatGPT. Etc
• Experience with social media management

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
• Understanding of higher education, student psychology, and career trends is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in content writing, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content that drives business results.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work experience with EdTech, universities.
• Knowledge of student recruitment and admission cycle.
