Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing and completing construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring timely completion, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Design and Development: Review and finalize project designs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
3. Site Management: Oversee site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
5. Client Liaison: Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and authorities to ensure project requirements are met.
6. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and minimizing waste.
7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure projects meet company standards.
8. Safety Management: Ensure site safety, implementing safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
3. Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Strong knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and standards.
8. Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or Asana.

Nice to Have:

1. Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Professional certification, such as PE or Chartered Engineer.
3. Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
4. Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building principles.
