Position Overview

City Montessori School (CMS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer proficient in Elementor to enhance and maintain the school's online presence.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience & Skills

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Proven experience with Elementor.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Role & Responsibility

• Develop, customize, and maintain the CMS website using WordPress and Elementor.
• Ensure high-performance and availability of the website.
• Implement responsive design to ensure the website is mobile-friendly.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development and WordPress.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is a plus.

Requirements and skills

• Create, revise, and publish engaging articles on WordPress that reflect our brand's voice and values.
• Conduct comprehensive research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
• Optimise articles for SEO to enhance organic traffic and search engine rankings.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies and editorial calendars.
• Implement and uphold SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and backlink strategies.
